DANYARA ANASTACIO

A Journey Built on Faith, Family and Purpose

A Journey Built on Faith, Family and Purpose

At ten years old, Danyara Anastacio - known to most simply as Dany - left Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and began a new life in the United States.

Her parents, João and Marta Anastacio, shared a dream familiar to so many immigrant parents: to give their children opportunities they had not had themselves - the chance to learn another language, pursue an education and build a better future.

Dany arrived in America with her mother, Marta Anastacio, and her siblings, Nayara Anastacio and Igor Anastacio. The family settled in Hyannis, Massachusetts, where Dany would grow up and eventually build a life of her own.

America brought opportunities, but the journey was not always easy. There were beautiful moments, difficult seasons, unexpected changes and many times when Dany had to learn how to begin again.

Through every chapter, however, three things remained at the center of her life: faith, family and the determination to keep moving forward.

Her Parents’ Determination, Her Foundation

When Dany looks at the woman she has become today, she sees the strength, determination and sacrifice of both of her parents, João and Marta Anastacio, reflected in her own life.

In Brazil, Marta dedicated herself to being a full-time mother, caring for Dany and her siblings, Nayara and Igor, while João worked hard to provide for his family and dreamed of creating greater opportunities for his children.

When the family began building their life in the United States, that dream became a shared mission.

Marta wanted to help João provide for the family and create the future they envisioned for their children. Dany watched her mother leave very early in the morning for work and later take on an afternoon shift, at times balancing two jobs. At the same time, she watched her father work tirelessly, carrying the responsibility of providing for his family and continuing to push forward no matter how difficult things became.

Their hard work had a purpose. João and Marta wanted their children to go to school, learn another language, receive an education and have access to opportunities they themselves had not had.

For Dany, her father’s determination and resilience became one of the greatest examples in her life.

“I am who I am today in large part because of the determination and resilience I saw in my father. He taught me through his actions that when life gets difficult, you keep going. Watching him work, sacrifice and persevere shaped the way I face challenges today. His strength became part of mine.”

Her mother’s journey taught her something equally powerful.

Dany watched Marta go from being a full-time mother in Brazil to working multiple jobs in America and, eventually, building a business of her own as a daycare provider. João also went on to build his own business in the flooring industry.

Without realizing it at the time, Dany was growing up surrounded by two of her greatest examples of entrepreneurship.

“My parents are my heroes. I watched two people work incredibly hard and never stop trying to give their children something better. My father showed me determination and resilience, and my mother showed me that you can dedicate yourself to your family, work incredibly hard and still have the courage to build something of your own. They both taught me about sacrifice, faith and never giving up.”

Years later, becoming a mother herself gave Dany an entirely different understanding of what her parents had done.

“Today, I understand their sacrifices differently because I am a mother myself. I understand what it means to work when you’re tired. I understand making sacrifices your children may never even know about. And I understand wanting your child to have opportunities greater than the ones you had. Everything my parents did was about giving us a chance at a better future.”

Their example would eventually influence Dany’s own path. Years after watching both of her parents work their way toward entrepreneurship, she would find herself doing the same - building Coastline Cleaning, creating employment opportunities for others and expanding into real estate investing.

In many ways, the entrepreneurial spirit Dany carries today began long before she opened her first business. It began at home, watching her parents build a life from the ground up.

Learning the Value of Work

Dany began working at just fourteen years old.

Over the years, she explored different careers and industries, eventually earning certifications as both a Certified Nursing Assistant and Dental Assistant and completing an Associate’s degree in Health Sciences.

She spent years working in healthcare, including as a dental assistant and CNA. Those experiences taught her discipline, compassion, professionalism and attention to detail - qualities that would eventually follow her into entrepreneurship.

But more importantly, those years reinforced something that had always been part of her personality: a desire to care for people.

Long before becoming a business owner, Dany volunteered with children with special needs and helped prepare meals for people experiencing homelessness.

Service was never something she associated only with business. It was simply part of the person she wanted to become.

Motherhood Gave the Dream a New Meaning

Of all the titles Dany has carried - immigrant, student, healthcare professional, entrepreneur, business owner and real estate investor - none means more to her than mother.

Her daughter, Luna, became the greatest motivation behind the future Dany wanted to build.

“I wanted to create something that could give my daughter a future. Luna became my biggest reason for wanting more out of life - not just financially, but in the example I wanted to give her.”

Motherhood changed Dany’s definition of success.

It was no longer simply about having a career or earning an income. It became about creating stability, freedom and opportunities for the next generation.

She wanted Luna to grow up watching a woman who was willing to work, take risks, rebuild when necessary and continue believing even when the path ahead wasn’t clear.

That desire became one of the greatest reasons Dany chose entrepreneurship.

From Healthcare to Entrepreneurship

What started as a small cleaning company quickly became much more.

In a little over a year, Coastline Cleaning experienced rapid growth throughout Cape Cod, transforming from a small business into a growing company with a team, loyal clients and an expanding presence in the community.

But Dany’s entrepreneurial journey did not stop there.

Today, she is also involved in real estate investing, purchasing properties to renovate, improve and resell.

For Dany, these investments represent another step toward the same goal that inspired her to build Coastline: creating long-term stability, building something that can last and opening doors for her family’s future.

She doesn’t consider herself someone who has reached her destination. She considers herself someone who is still building.

Faith at the Center

Behind Dany’s ambition is something even more important to her: her faith in God.

Before making important decisions, she prays. When doors open, she gives thanks. And during seasons when she cannot see exactly where life is leading, she turns to God for direction.

“Everything I do, I ask God for guidance. I don’t want God to be separate from my business or my life. I want Him at the center of everything I build.”

That belief extends to Coastline Cleaning.

Dany believes success is more meaningful when it can also become a blessing to someone else - whether that means creating employment, helping an employee move forward, serving a client or giving back to the community.

“I am grateful to God for every door He has opened, including the ones I didn’t understand at the time. Some things I once saw as setbacks ended up changing the direction of my life.”

For Dany, faith is not something reserved for difficult moments. It is part of how she lives, how she leads and how she makes decisions.

She believes the opportunities she has today are blessings that also carry responsibility: to work hard, remain humble, help others when possible and never forget where she came from.

Family: The Heart Behind Her Success

Despite everything she has accomplished, Dany does not see her success as an individual achievement.

Her family is at the heart of it.

Her mother, Marta Anastacio; her father, João Anastacio; her sister, Nayara Anastacio; her brother, Igor Anastacio; her one and only niece, Sophia Anastacio; and especially her daughter, Luna, are part of the reason she continues pushing herself to dream bigger.

“My family is one of the greatest reasons behind everything I do. They are part of my story, my strength, my motivation and my success.”

Dany hopes Luna and Sophia can grow up seeing what the generations before them worked to create - and understand that the sacrifices of their family created opportunities for the generation that followed.

For Dany, family is not simply part of her success. Family is the reason success matters.

And there is something particularly meaningful about the way her family’s story has come full circle.

Years ago, João and Marta Anastacio worked side by side, eventually building businesses of their own while sacrificing to create a better future for their children in America. Today, Dany recognizes that much of the entrepreneur she has become was shaped by watching the two people she calls her heroes.

Today, their daughter is an entrepreneur, business owner, mother and real estate investor, building on the foundation they created and carrying that dream into another generation.

“The dream did not end when the family arrived in America. It simply changed hands.”

Building a Legacy

Dany’s ambitions continue to grow, but so does her understanding of what success truly means.

Success is not simply owning a company. It isn’t measured only by the number of clients, employees or properties.

For Dany, success is being able to look at her daughter and know she is building something that can outlive her.

It is creating employment for someone who needs an opportunity. It is helping a client. It is supporting her family. It is giving back to the community that became her home. It is honoring the sacrifices her parents made. And above all, it is remaining grateful to God for the journey.

“My story isn’t perfect. I’ve had beautiful moments and difficult ones. I’ve had to change directions and start over more than once. But I am grateful for all of it. God has been with me through every chapter. My parents taught me the meaning of sacrifice and perseverance, my family is my foundation, my daughter is my greatest motivation, and everything I am building today is part of the legacy I hope to leave behind.”

More than twenty years after arriving in the United States as a ten-year-old girl from Governador Valadares, Dany is still pursuing the dream her parents once carried for their family: a better future.

Only now, she is building it for the generation that comes after her.
