A Journey of Purpose and Determination
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Jonathan Iwase always had a clear vision for his future: to grow professionally, build something meaningful, and leave a lasting legacy. Holding a degree in Accounting and with experience in the banking and financial sector, Jonathan began his career in Brazil, where he developed discipline, responsibility, and a strong connection to finance, numbers, and business management.
In 2017, after receiving a job opportunity in the United States and driven by the desire to provide a better life for his family, Jonathan made one of the most important decisions of his life: moving to the United States.
Like many immigrants, he arrived facing challenges, cultural barriers, and the need to start over from scratch. During his early years, although he worked in office environments, he also took on physically demanding jobs, experiencing firsthand the reality faced by thousands of immigrants. Even while working outside his original field, he never lost sight of his goal: returning to the financial and accounting industry, where he always knew he could make a difference.
After overcoming setbacks and gaining valuable experience, Jonathan had the opportunity to work in accounting firms, where he expanded his technical knowledge and gained a broader understanding of the industry.
Building IWS Tax & Consulting Services
Visionary and determined, Jonathan decided to take a bold step into entrepreneurship.
In 2021, he founded IWS Tax & Consulting Services Inc. with a clear mission: providing a personalized and strategic approach while helping individuals and businesses grow safely and remain compliant with U.S. regulations.
The company’s growth was both fast and consistent. In 2024, IWS expanded its operations by opening a new office in Nantucket, Massachusetts, strengthening its reputation in accounting services, business formation, tax planning, and financial support.

Married and the father of a two-year-old daughter, he believes family is his greatest motivation. For him, true success is found in balancing career, purpose, and personal life.
